From haunted trails to campgrounds, here are the best haunted attractions in Orange County this fall.

Doheny State Beach Halloween Haunt

On October 25th you can experience the Halloween Haunt. It’s located at Doheney State Beach and will be a huge festival full of fun activities, educational booths and arts and craft stations. It’s a one-day event from 6:30 to 8:30pm. While it’s a free event, they will be collecting non-perishable food donations. It will be a fun and safe event for the whole family and a great chance for the kids to dress up in costumes.

The Haunt at Heritage Hill

Enjoy plenty of fun at the Haunt at Heritage Hill. This attraction will include mazes, goblins, stage performances, horror movies, a haunted house and more. You can wear your costume and enjoy all the fun. It’s recommended for those 12 years of age and older and admission is $7 per person. This attraction will be open at 6pm on October 17th and 18th.

Boot Hill in Irvine

The town of Bridgewood holds the Legend of Boot Hill. The legend says that Jebediah Smith, a land developer, brought justice to a cemetery of an old church. Since the site’s been leveled to make Irvine village of Woodbridge, the legend has it that every year the cemetery and church reappear with Jebediah Smith’s spirit roaming the land. Come check out this haunted area for no cost. Bring a donation for the Children’s Hospital of Orange County on October 17th, 18th and 20th, along with October 24th-26th, 30th and November 1st from 7-10pm and Halloween night from 6:30-10:30pm.
