One of the new cocktail bars in the OC is Casa, a speakeasy in Costa Mesa. They have expert mixologists with creative cocktails. They do something unique in that you have to make your reservation via email and then they will text you a password for entry. They even have a dress code and have live music playing for your enjoyment.
Costa Mesa 55 Tavern and Bowl – 1875 Newport Boulevard, Costa Mesa
Check out Costa Mesa 55 Tavern and Bowl for cocktails, hand-crafted beers and a bowling alley. Service is great and they have great happy hour deals. They host trivia night and offer vegan and gluten-free menu options.
Totally 80s Bar and Grille – 2512 West Orangethrope Avenue, Fullerton
If you loved the 80s, check out Totally 80s Bar and Grille in Fullerton. It’s located downtown and the interior is decked out in the 80s. You’ll love the neon lights, posters of 80s bands and live DJs. It’s a great place to grab a cocktail and karaoke on Sunday nights.

Social just opened in Costa Mesa, a great cocktail bar with a ton of signature drinks. You can get domestic and imported wines, plus they have their own syrups for one-of-a-kind cocktails. Try the menu full of pork chops, burgers and seafood rolls.
