The Observatory - 3503 South Harbor Boulevard, Santa Ana
The Observatory used to be the Galaxy Theatre, but now it's a reinvigorated venue with room for 550 people. This is one of the top spots for up and coming bands in Orange County. The Constellation Room is a part of it, as well and features about 300 seats. If you want to enjoy an intimate show, this is the venue for you.
Mozambique Steakhouse & Coastal Lounge - 1740 South Coast Highway, Laguna Beach
Known for the steaks and seafood, Mozambique is a great spot for dinner. However, it's also an excellent place for live bands on Friday and Saturday nights. The bands start around 9pm and the cover charge is normally $5 or less. You can enjoy all types of fun and even take the Safe Ride car service free of charge within three miles.
