Pageant of the Masters
Held every summer, the Pageant of the Masters comes with a new theme each year. For 2015, the theme is "The Pursuit of Happiness." The event is the crowning jewel of the Festival of Arts and one of the most unique productions found in the world. With plenty of world-renowned artistry, it's a very popular event every year.
The Pageant of the Masters is a 90-minute show of "living pictures" from classical and contemporary works of art. Real people post to look just like those in the original pieces at an outdoor amphitheater. The show includes a professional orchestra, live narration, amazing sets, expert staff, plenty of volunteers and incredible lighting. You really do have to see it to believe it and the Pageant of the Masters has won many awards.
Festival Art Show
The actual art show is one of the oldest in the country and one of the finest, as well. It will offer breathtaking art from all types of artistry fitting with the theme of the event. Plenty of paintings, printmaking, jewelry, furniture, glass, sculpture and more will be on display from 140 artists found in the Orange County area. The event also includes daily tours, art workshops, demonstrations and more.
Dates and Tickets
This year's Festival Art Show will run from July 5th to August 31st. The Pageant of the Masters will begin on July 8th and run through August 31st. Tickets for the Pageant of the Masters range from $15 to $60 depending on the seats you choose.
