Menorah Lighting Ceremony

Ladera Ranch Menorah Lighting Ceremony

Christmas is always beautiful in Ladera Ranch... driving the perimeter of the perfectly manicured community of Ladera Ranch will take you to a winter fairy tale. And it happens every year, during the Christmas Season. Ladera is the home of over 25,000 residents where it is hard to miss the large banners promoting various events of the holiday season - Santa Visits, the traditional Tree Lighting, Toy Drive where residents gather to bring new and wrapped toys to be collected for as Christmas gifts for needy children here, in Orange County. The event speaks for itself - it's called Spark of Love Toy Drive!

December is also the time when every year the Jewish Community of Ladera Ranch Club, in partnership with LARCS, hold a Menorah Lighting Lighting Ceremony. Ladera Ranch Residents mark this day for gathering at Town Green to celebrate Hanukkah and light a Menorah. Along with lighting the Menorah, the event includes children's crafts, music and refreshments.

Children's favorite event is the visit with Santa, at the Avendale Clubhouse, but most of all, the one favorite to all residents Christmas magic is the Individual House and Neighborhood Lighting Contest  when everyone gets involved in the lights and holiday decorations on homes and local businesses. The winners receives $100 and $200 Costco gift cards.
