Orange County is known for having a great deal of culture and arts available to residents. You can enjoy a night evening out on the town experiencing culture and arts or a fun and education day with the kids. Here are some of the free art walks and museum days you can find around Orange County.

Art Walks

There are five great areas to enjoy a free art walk around Orange County. Santa Ana offers an art walk downtown in the Promenade Artist Village once a month. On the third Saturday of the month you can check out artists from the Santiago Art District across from the Santa Ana train station.

In Huntington Beach, check out art, poetry and music for free once a month in downtown Huntington Beach.

Local galleries and venues in downtown Fullerton also host an art walk on the first Friday of the month.

Laguna Beach is one of the oldest artist communities in the OC and they feature an art walk through studios and galleries on the first Thursday of the month from 6pm-9pm.

Free Museum Days

The Bowers Museum is a great choice for a free museum day visit. They have the event on the first Sunday of the month or residents can visit for free on the first Thursday. This museum is the biggest in the county and the most popular. It's the place to go for culture educations for both kids and adults.

The Orange County Art Museum is perfect for kids because kids 12 and under are admitted free every day. Bring the whole family and experience the arts offered at the museum.
