Spring time is here and it’s time to get outside and reconnect with the community after the chilly winter season. Orange County really has so much to offer and spring is the perfect time to get out and explore. Whether you want to check out a cultural festival or take a boat adventure, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Here is a look at the upcoming spring activities in the OC.

Spring Citrus Fair – La Habra – 321 East La Habra Blvd, La Habra

The annual Spring Citrus Fair is coming to La Habra this May and it’s going to be fun for the whole family. The street fair will feature free entertainment, rides, food and fun for all ages to enjoy. Check it out from May 1-3.

Gray Whale Migration – 400 Main Street, Newport Beach

The Gray Whale Migration is taking place in Newport Beach this spring. March’s Dana Point Festival is the peak time for you to check out a cruise to see the giant mammal but it’s not too late. Head over to Davey’s Locker for a daily cruise all year and check out the huge gray whale migration before it’s too late. You may see up to half a dozen gray whales on a cruise.

The OC Marketplace Spring Season Events – 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa

In Costa Mesa you can check out the Orange County Marketplace Spring Season Events. There are events like the K-Earth 101’s Bugstock, the 8th Annual Easter Festival and the Spring Pet Days. Also check out the 6th Annual Rockabilly Showdown spring concert series.

Finally, don’t miss out on the Strawberry Festival at Garden Grove. It’s the second largest city festival in the western US and will feature entertainment, rides, music, games and food. Check it out at the Village Green between Main Street and South Euclid Street for no charge.
