It is said that every community needs a heart. That is exactly what Casa Romantica is to the Southern Orange County area. Many even refer to it as a historic treasure.

It was built back in 1927 by its original owner, Ole Hanson. He built it so his family could have a beautiful place to live. It was his idea of living the California dream. This home consisted of 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms.

Owners

Over the years the home had several different owners. It wasn't until 1946, when Lambert and Patricia Schuyler purchased the home, that it was named the Casa Romantica. In 1991 it was listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.

Now Casa Romantica serves as a place where visitors can come and learn about the rich history of Southern California. It gives them a place to gather, grow and celebrate people, history and culture.
